Does anyone else think branded craft items are way overpriced? Sure, you get better quality products, but take dies, for example: they are bits of metal that must cons pennies to make yet can cost anything up to £70 for a set.
I’m not a fan of buying from China as I do like to support brands where I can, but if I can buy, say, nesting dies for £ 2- £3 instead of paying £30 – £50, then that’s what I have to do. I don’t like it, but I can’t afford to keep paying a small fortune for items that probably cost a fraction of what they are charging.
I understand they are businesses and need to make a profit, but I feel very overcharged when I see something I like, go looking for it and find that it’s way over my budget.
I’m sure people have different opinions on this and I’d love to hear them if you care to comment.
